Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are central to the student experience in the School of Mathematics. We aim to provide a safe space for students to learn and engage with their studies, without risk of discrimination or bias. A variety of resources and support is offered to help foster an inclusive, welcoming community in the School.
We are working on many EDI projects to improve diversity in the School of Mathematics, and have webpages on the main school site, detailing these and other events to get involved with. Resources and Training
We have complied a list of resources and training for students surrounding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. It's highly recommended students complete this training and get educated as much as possible about EDI and the associated concerns, to promote a more inclusive community within the School.
Support
The School and University have lots of support available for students struggling with Equality, Diversity and Inclusion related issues, alongside information surrounding reporting procedure for students who have experienced harassment.
