Student Development
It's not just your degree that future employers are looking for but also your transferable skills. These skills are built upon during your time at university and the Student Development team are here to help!
The Student Development Team in the School of Mathematics are here to help students with their transferable and professional skills, as well as career development journey throughout their time at university. We do this by supporting you to:
-
Develop your transferable and professional skills to make the most of your degree programme and beyond.
-
Reflect on your development to ensure you are making continuous progress on your journey of academic and personal growth.
-
Succeed by using the transferable and professional skills you have learned to allow you to enter the world of work, further study or another path entirely.
Working in close partnership with the Careers Service, our Academic Staff, the School's Alumni and the business community, the Student Development Team provides activities and resources focused on developing skills, engaging with opportunities, and building networks.
