Employability Tuesday

Develop professional skills and meet potential future employers at Employability Tuesday

Unsure what you might like to do after you finish your degree? Employability Tuesday gives you an insight into job opportunities, companies, further study and what you need to do to succeed in taking your next steps!

In semester 1 our Careers consultant, Matt Vickers, gives presentations that focus on the employability skills, such as writing a CV or how to approach talking to prospective employers.

In semester 2, speakers from a range of industries present what their day-to-day looks like, how a mathematics background is applied in a job environment, what they are looking for when hiring new positions, as well as information on their graduate programmes and how to apply. Students also have the chance to ask questions giving you the opportunity to engage with companies that may be looking to employ you!
