Check to see if your question has already been asked. If you are asking about an exercise from e.g. the textbook, give both the question number and re-state the question in full. Say specifically where or why you are stuck. This way people can help you much more effectively – and it will help your understanding too. If you don’t know how to get started on a question, say what you have tried so far. Be respectful of your lecturers. If you have a complaint, address it directly with the lecturer or via your class reps. Answering Engage with other people’s questions. Trying to explain something helps you understand it better.
