MSc Dissertation Writing Workshops

The sign-up for the 'MSc Dissertation Writing Workshops' are a brilliant opportunity to get some input into how to write your project or dissertation. Past students have found them very useful, giving them insight into areas of language and structure they hadn't previously considered when writing.

Please bring your work and any questions to the workshop, where there will be representatives from the School of Maths and The Centre for Open Learning on hand to help. 

Prior to the workshop there are 3 sessions below that you will need to review. The session links can be found for each programme below:

• Computational Applied Mathematics
• Computational Mathematical Finance
• Financial Modelling and Optimization
• Operational Research (including all with options)
• Statistics and Operational Research
• Statistics with Data Science

You must register to attend this event, as we have a limited capacity of spaces available. Please register early to avoid disappointment.

Registration will open in April 2026.

If we reach capacity we will operate a waiting list. If you are no longer able to attend and need to cancel your booking, please do so at your earliest opportunity and at least 3 days before the event where possible. Someone else may be able to take your place, but we need time to contact them.
